This platform serves as a centralized geospatial database developed by FAO SWALIM to support evidence-based decision-making for sustainable land and water resource management in Somalia. It provides open access to curated spatial datasets, maps, and metadata covering themes such as agriculture, water, land use, natural hazards, and environmental monitoring. The GeoNode platform enables users—including government institutions, researchers, humanitarian actors, and development partners—to explore, visualize, and download reliable geospatial information critical for planning and resilience building.
